Dr. Aurora Guynn is a PGY1 pharmacy resident at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV. She completed her pharmacy education at the Shenandoah University Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy. While in her sophomore year of high school, it became clear to Aurora that she was meant to be a pharmacist and she has been working towards that goal ever since. Dr. Guynn has always been fascinated with how medications work. Additionally, she loves direct patient care and getting to work collaboratively with patients and other members of the healthcare team to improve outcomes. Her professional interests include infectious disease, ambulatory care, psychiatry, and academia. Outside of residency, she likes to spend time with her fiancé and their four cats, read fantasy books, run, and eat spicy food (the spicier the better)!”
Dr. Patricia Ramos Gonzalez completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Shenandoah University Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy in Winchester, VA. She chose to pursue a career in pharmacy since it allows her to combine my interest in the scientific field with ensuring individuals receive the best possible medication therapy and guidance for their health. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and dog, watching movies, and listening to music.
Dr. Richie Robertson graduated from the Shenandoah University Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy. He has always loved science and learning how medications worked, which is what led him to choose a career in pharmacy. His professional goal is to work as an inpatient clinical pharmacist, which is why residency appealed to him at the VA. This program is very broad and covers many topics that interest him such as infectious diseases and critical care. Dr. Robertson also loves the fact that he would get to work with our nation’s veterans and positively impact their care. Outside of residency he enjoys spending time with friends and family, pickleball/tennis, and playing piano for his church.
