Sara Pavlak McGuire is an adjunct faculty member with Shenandoah Conservatory’s acting department. She is an actor and director originally from Chicago, Illinois, where she worked for twelve years with numerous equity and non-equity theatre companies. Some notable roles include “Hamlet” (Ophelia), “A Streetcar Named Desire” (Blanche), “Time Stands Still” (Sarah), and “Agnes of God” (Agnes). Notable directing credits includes “When We Were Young and Unafraid.” She has received multiple Chicago Jeff Award Nominations and received the award for her work in “Agnes of God.” She also served as casting director and co-artistic director of AstonRep Theatre Company in Chicago.
